WHAT IS P-EBT FOR 0-5 YEAR OLDS ON SNAP?

The Pandemic - Electronic Benefits (P-EBT) Program is a federal program created to provide funds for families with infants and children 0-5 years old who get SNAP to help buy more food during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • You are eligible if you have an infant or child 0-5 year, AND your family was getting SNAP between September 2022 and May 2023.

  • The amount is based on the average decrease in child care meals provided during these months compared to before the pandemic.

  • Using P-EBT does NOT impact you or your child’s immigration status.  The public charge rule does NOT apply to P-EBT funds.
